Temperature monitoring is the basic parameter which should be systematically checked in such environments as e.g. server room, warehouse or cold store. Too high or too low temperature may negatively affect correct operation of equipment used in server rooms and IT environment, the products stored in a warehouse, or vaccines and food kept in cold stores.

Temperature monitoring
Temperature monitoring is not only the most important thing that need to be checked in previously mentioned rooms: server rooms, warehouses, or even cold stores. We should remember that an adequate temperature monitoring system also guarantees longer service life of equipment and its better performance.
Temperature monitoring system should consist of thermometers with data recording devices and software. The system monitoring temperature and other climate parameters should be fully automated. Measuring equipment, thermometers, hygrometers and data recorders can communicate with PC software via an existing Ethernet network, using wireless data transfer or dedicated wiring.
These solutions allow faster data transfers and recording. Moreover, they make it possible to react faster in case of any breakdown. Thus, these devices should be installed in each server room, warehouse or cold store.
