Rack Compliance — complete protection for one cabinet in a single quote line item

The module grew out of observing tenders: orders for servers, UPS units and rack cabinets almost never include environmental monitoring as a specified item — even though the infrastructure requires it. This set closes the gap: a controller and the five parameters that auditors and insurers want to see documented.

The scope is fixed: temperature, humidity, water leak, power loss and door opening. The module variants differ only in the number of cabinets, not in the choice of sensors — so pricing takes a minute rather than half a day.

Five parameters as one standard

Temperature and humidity tell you whether the air conditioning is coping. Water leak detection catches a plumbing failure before the water reaches the power supplies. AC power loss shows that the UPS has just switched to battery. The door sensor records when someone opened the cabinet — usually the only evidence when analyzing an incident.

Vutlan VT335G controller

A 1U rack unit with a Gigabit port, support for SNMP v1/v2c/v3, REST API and Modbus TCP. Logic schemes let you link an event to an action without operator involvement — e.g. exceeding a temperature threshold triggers a notification and switches the beacon relay.

The controller sends alarms via e-mail, Telegram, SNMP Trap, Syslog and HTTP request. You can add SMS and a 4G backup link with the Rack Compliance SMS/LTE module.

Expanding the module

You add managed power with per-outlet energy metering with the Rack Compliance PDU module. SMS alarms and link redundancy — with the SMS/LTE module. A full on-premise system with history and dashboards — with the CE MonitorApp OnPrem license with Zabbix templates. Each of these items is available separately, so you can select them according to the requirements of the tender specification (SIWZ).
