Pre-shipment configuration means preparing the data loggers and sensors so that, after delivery, you can connect them and start working. We set IP addressing and network parameters, alarm thresholds and email and SMS notifications — and, within the agreed scope, a Zabbix or Nagios template. You receive equipment set up to the data you provided and ready to start.

What does pre-shipment monitoring configuration include?
The service covers setting network parameters, alarm thresholds and alerts. Within the agreed scope, a template for Zabbix or Nagios can also be prepared.
What information do you need before configuration?
Mainly network data, the expected alarm thresholds, how notifications should be sent and any integration requirements. Chip Electronics agrees the exact list of information before work starts.
Do the devices need to be configured again after delivery?
If the data provided and the network conditions don't change, the devices will be ready to connect and start. Installation and connection are carried out by the customer's team according to the instructions supplied.
