Calibrating temperature sensors in an accredited laboratory lets you document measurement results to a recognised standard. On request, we arrange a certificate from a laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 — recognised across Europe under the EA multilateral agreement — and for renewals we send a calibrated unit first, so your temperature monitoring keeps running without interruption. We keep a calibration register and remind you of the next due date.

What certificate will I receive after sensor calibration?
The certificate is issued by a calibration laboratory working with Chip Electronics. On request, the measurements are carried out by an accredited laboratory and the certificate carries its accreditation mark; the certificate presents the measurement results but is not a statement of compliance.
Will monitoring stop while the certificate is being renewed?
No. A calibrated unit is shipped first, and the existing device is collected only after the new one is up and running. This way data recording can continue without a break.
How often do sensors need to be recalibrated?
There is no single interval that fits every installation. The required interval and scope of calibration follow from the customer's own procedures, and Chip Electronics helps plan the work to meet them.
