Printed RFID cards with a custom design combine an access credential with your company artwork. We supply Mifare 13.56 MHz and Unique 125 kHz proximity cards, including small print runs. The service includes the graphic design and two rounds of revisions, and the approved design remains your property.

Older and the most widespread time & attendance systems. The lowest-cost option. The card number is read — they work wherever identifying the employee is what matters.

Newer systems. Data encryption, on-card storage, payment support and several functions on a single card.

What is the minimum print run?
100 cards. The price per card drops as the order size grows.
What format should the artwork be in?
PDF, AI or PNG at a minimum of 300 dpi. If the file needs work, we'll help refine it.
What is the lead time?
7–14 business days from approval of the graphic design.
Will printed cards work with my reader?
Yes — printing does not affect the chip. Give us your reader model and we'll confirm the right card type.
Can I order a sample?
Before production you receive the graphic design for approval. We print only after you confirm it.
Which RFID card standards can be ordered with printing?
The range covers Mifare and Unique cards. The standard should match the readers and the access control system used in your company.
Are printed RFID cards available in small quantities?
Yes, Chip Electronics also handles small print runs. The minimum number of cards and the printing method depend on the chosen standard and the design, so we confirm them before quoting.
How is the print design prepared?
You provide the artwork and your card requirements, then receive a design for approval. The design price includes two rounds of revisions, and the finished design remains your property.
