Extended equipment warranty — up to 5 years of cover
Repair, replacement or a 100% refund. Together with the manufacturer's warranty, that's up to 5 years of cover — for a one-off fee from EUR 13 net.
An extended equipment warranty lengthens the seller's warranty by 12 or 24 months. If a defect is covered by the terms, Chip Electronics arranges repair or replacement of the device, and RMA shipping is at our expense. Cover applies to environmental monitoring controllers and sensors.

Terms and timing

We handle claims in 2 weeks on average, 3 weeks at most.

2 weeks on average; in exceptional cases up to 3 weeks.
By how much can the equipment warranty be extended?▾
The seller's warranty can be extended by 12 or 24 months. The available option should be matched to the device being covered.
What happens after I report a defect?▾
Once the claim is accepted and checked, the device is repaired or replaced under the terms of the extended warranty. Chip Electronics covers the RMA shipping cost.
