External kit for extending an RS232/RS485 serial line

Do you need to extend a serial line over a longer distance or replace metallic cabling? An outdoor installation enclosure equipped with an Edgar WiFi wireless converter enables such an extension over a distance of up to 2 km in line of sight.

The kit is designed for outdoor mounting and ensures stable transmission of RS232 or RS485 serial data without running a cable between distant points of the installation. The rugged enclosure made of UV-stabilized ABS plastic protects the electronics against the weather.
