Selec4 - RS232 switch with digital control
Selec4 is a digital switch that lets you route one RS232 line to one of four RS232 lines. Switching can be performed by the RTS and DTR control signals from the main line, by the RTS and DTR signals from the auxiliary line or by digital signals fed from the terminal block.
The device passes the full set of RS232 signals (DCD, DSR, RXD, RTS, TXD, CTS, DTR, RI), so it retains the full functionality of the serial port regardless of the selected output line. The electronics board is housed in a sheet-metal enclosure suitable for wall or panel mounting.
