SB485 — USB to RS485/RS422 converter with galvanic isolation
SB485 converts a USB interface to an RS485, RS422 or RS422 multimaster line, with full galvanic isolation. It appears to the computer as a virtual serial port, so you use it exactly like a classic COM port.
It is well suited for transmitting smaller amounts of data over distances of up to 1200 m. It supports Windows (32- and 64-bit), Linux, macOS and Android, and its wide operating temperature range (-40 to +85 °C) allows it to be used in harsh conditions.
