Rack Compliance SMS/LTE — SMS alarm and 4G backup link for the Vutlan controller
The option most often added to server room monitoring quotes: the alarm must arrive by SMS, not just by e-mail, and it must arrive even when the internet connection goes down. This module meets both requirements in a single item.
The 4G LTE modem slots into the Vutlan controller. The SMA antenna with a 3-meter cable lets you route it outside the metal cabinet — without that, the signal inside the rack is often insufficient.
SMS without an external service
SMS notifications are sent from the SIM card in the modem, not through an operator gateway or a cloud platform. There is no subscription for notifications and no third party in the alarm path — usually the deciding argument in institutions that do not allow external services.
Ethernet with a backup link
The modem works as LAN link redundancy: when the main connection stops responding, the controller switches to 4G transmission and keeps sending data and alarms. A switch or ISP failure no longer means silence in your monitoring.
The antenna you must not forget
The VT6604 antenna with a 3 m cable is the item that most often drops out of the first version of a quote and comes back as a customer question. It is in this module from the start — a rack cabinet is a Faraday cage, and a modem without an external antenna can be useless.

Pre-shipment configuration
You can order the kit with alarm thresholds and network addressing already configured for your network — just take it out of the box and plug it in. Configuration and remote support during the first start-up are separate items in our range.
