A practical tool for diagnosing applications with an RS232 serial port. The adapter is inserted into an RS232 cable and its switches let you easily disconnect individual serial port signals while the device is running.
It lets you check which of the signals (DCD, RxD, TxD, DTR, RTS, CTS, DSR, RI) is actually used by a given application, which considerably speeds up the diagnosis of serial communication problems.
