Communication Method of an IP Thermometer 

The IP thermometer is equipped with a web server, which allows communication with it using standard web browsers. Preferred browsers include FIREFOX, OPERA, CHROME. This solution enables continuous communication, for example, from any location within the building using a computer.

Communication can also occur from the command line of Windows/Linux systems via the HTTP protocol, as well as through the Modbus TCP protocol using a custom application (provided protocol). This undoubtedly offers remarkable convenience when managing several devices that require continuous monitoring. Such a solution also helps to avoid failures or prevents their occurrence.

How can you use the Nano Temp PoE IP Thermometer? 

The Nano Temp PoE IP Thermometer can collaborate with other modules from the Nano and Lantick series and, through M2M connection, create a remote alarm trigger when the set temperature is exceeded (e.g., automatically turning on the air conditioner when the set temperature is exceeded). Thanks to its built-in intelligence, the IP thermometer enables easy and fast operation from any location. All that is required for its operation is a mobile device with internet access.

By using the application provided by the manufacturer, the user can monitor readings from 4 sensors simultaneously on one screen. Such capability facilitates IT work.

 

For whom is Nano Temp?

Nano Temp is suitable wherever there is a need for continuous temperature control (greenhouses, aquaculture tanks, pools, etc.). For example, due to strong sunlight, the temperature in the greenhouse is too high for the plants being grown inside. The sensor signals the temperature rise, and we receive this information on our phone.

We can react and instruct, for instance, turning on the sprinklers or creating a dependency system using other relay modules (Nano Out, Lantick), which automatically closes blinds or turns on sprinklers, etc., once a certain temperature is exceeded.

MQTT Service:

The IP NANO Temperature Sensor sends the current temperature to the INVEO cloud.

Data is sent every 1 minute and whenever there is a change. With the appropriate application installed, we can read the temperature directly on our mobile phone. This is a very convenient solution because such a system can prevent failures or allow for much faster reaction in case of their occurrence.

The advantage of using the INVEO MQTT service is the lack of need to forward ports on the router. Simply connect the NANO Temperature Sensor to the home router, configure the application, and enjoy remote temperature readings.
