LR800 — LoRaWAN gateway and server for wireless monitoring
The LR800 collects data from wireless LoRaWAN sensors spread across a building or site and displays it in a single web interface. A range of up to 1 kilometer line of sight means one device can cover a hall, several floors or distributed telecom cabinets — without running a cable to every sensor.
Unlike typical LoRaWAN gateways, the LR800 does not need an external network or application server. A single housing contains the radio gateway, the ChirpStack network server, the application server and the user interface. That is enough to build your own private LoRaWAN network — data does not have to leave your infrastructure.
The LoRa signal passes through floor slabs and partition walls — the manufacturer specifies connectivity up to three floors above and below the gateway's mounting location.

Basic features:
Complete LoRaWAN stack: gateway, ChirpStack network server, application server and web interface in one device — a private LoRaWAN network with no external services
Radio: EU868 band, 8 channels, OTAA sensor activation, LoRaWAN Class A protocol (MAC 1.0–1.0.4), sensitivity down to −139 dBm
Range: up to 1 km line of sight, approx. 3.14 km² of area, penetration up to 3 floors above and below
Capacity: up to 100 physical sensors and 700 virtual elements (PING, SNMP GET, timer, trigger, math element)
Triple power redundancy: 12 V DC main input, 12 V DC backup input and a 9–11.1 V backup battery
Link redundancy: LAN 10/100 port plus an optional VT7670 4G LTE modem (ordered separately) as a backup link and SMS channel
Local data storage: microSD slot up to 512 GB — logs going back as far as 3 years, regardless of the network connection
Expansion via CAN bus: up to 24 devices in a chain, including VT408 (analog inputs) and VT440 (dry contacts) modules
On-board inputs and outputs: 2 dry contact inputs, 2 × 12 V relays (beacon, siren, lamp), built-in temperature sensor ±1°C
Notifications: e-mail, Telegram, HTTP request, FTP log, Syslog, SMTP, SNMP Trap, Web-to-SMS
Automation: logic schemes — defined conditions trigger an action without operator involvement (notification, relay switching)
Integrations: Modbus TCP/IP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, REST API, view of up to 4 IP cameras, RADIUS, VPN, DynDNS, HTTPS/TLS
Operating conditions: −10°C to 70°C, humidity 0–90% non-condensing, power consumption 1–10 W
Construction: sheet steel housing IP50, 164 × 33.1 × 89.4 mm, 0.7 kg, desk or wall mounting, RoHS, CE, CE(RED)
Adding sensors
A new sensor is added in a few steps: scan the QR code on the housing, click “add sensor” in the LR800 web interface and follow the wizard. There is no need to manually enter the DevEUI or AppKey into a separate application server — everything happens in the same device.
Applications
The LR800 is ideal where running cables to every measuring point is expensive or impossible: environmental monitoring in office buildings and warehouses, distributed telecom cabinets and base stations, edge server rooms, heritage buildings and cold stores, where temperature and humidity need to be monitored in many rooms at once.
Compatible wireless sensors
You can connect the Vutlan LoRaWAN sensors available in our range to the LR800: LR490 (temperature and humidity), LR500 (precision temperature and smoke), LR530 (cabinet access control with temperature measurement) and LR590 (spot leak detection).
Environmental monitoring in practice
If you are building server room monitoring from scratch and looking for a ready-made solution with notifications and measurement history, alongside the LR800 it is worth considering the EnviSensor data loggers and the CE MonitorApp software — they let you collect data from LoRaWAN, wired sensors and SNMP devices in one place.
