Exter — Extension Reader for Mounting on the Other Side of the Door
Exter is a reader that can operate standalone, sending the number of the card read via an RS485 or RS232 interface. It can also be used as an extension reader working with a main BoxID series reader, ideal for mounting on the other side of the door.
The RFID Exter is connected directly to the main reader, to which it sends the data of the card read — it can be mounted e.g. outside the building, while the main reader is installed inside. The module is equipped with an LED indicator and a buzzer.
The device is compatible with BoxID LED/LCD, IND2 LED/LCD (license required), Clocker CL-10/CL-20/CL-30 and RCP2 LED/LCD (license required) readers.
