CL232 - RS232 to current loop converter
CL232 is a communication converter that converts an RS232 serial line to a current loop. The device includes galvanic isolation of both lines and, on request, galvanic isolation of the power supply as well - up to three independently isolated sections in total.
The converter supports two transmission channels (RxD and TxD) and achieves high communication speeds - up to 200 kBd with shorter cables (up to 300 m) or a lower speed of up to 14 kBd when transmitting the signal over long distances (up to 3400 m). This solution is well suited for industrial environments where noise immunity and galvanic separation are essential.
