NETIO PowerPDU 4PS - High-Level Power Management Solution

NETIO PowerPDU 4PS is an intelligent power distribution unit (PDU) with four sockets (4x IEC-320 C13). Each of these sockets can be individually switched on/off.

NETIO PowerPDU 4PS can be mounted in rack cabinets - horizontally, vertically, or as a 1U device.

Integration with systems from other manufacturers using various protocols (JSON, Modbus/TCP, SNMP, MQTT-flex, Telnet, ...) is easy thanks to the open API interface. With the NETIO Cloud service, outputs can be controlled from anywhere. The NETIO Cloud service, available for a fee, uses SSL security and servers in Europe.

Features for Professional Industrial Applications:

NETIO PowerPDU 4PS is designed for industrial applications. It operates in a wide temperature range (-20°C to +65°C), supports software updates over the Internet, remembers the last socket state before power-off, and switches relays at zero voltage.

Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS):

The most important feature of NETIO PowerPDU 4PS is ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching). It controls the precise moment when the mechanical relay contacts close and open, minimizing voltage spikes and extending the lifespan of connected devices.

Power-Up State Control:

For some applications, it is important to set the socket state immediately after device startup. It is also possible to configure a delay in turning on outputs after power restoration.

Network Device Monitoring (IP Watchdog):

The IP Watchdog function allows monitoring of network devices and automatic restart in case of failure.

Output Scheduling (Scheduler):

The Scheduler function allows scheduling of turning on and off outputs at specific times and days of the week.

Zero Current Switching (ZCS):

ZCS is a feature that ensures the device switches the IEC-320 C13 socket when the current level exceeds zero. This protects connected devices and minimizes electromagnetic interference.

Output control is completely independent of the LAN communication system. The output state is not changed by LAN disconnection, device reset, or software update.
